Our lead film is seminal cracked-POW-classic “Rolling Thunder” (John Flynn, 1977). William Devane plays a man damaged by his seven year stint in a prisoner of-war camp, who is returning to an America he no longer recognises. After enduring a series of horrific attacks, his barely-contained fury bursts free in a spree of fist-pumping, hook-handed vengeance. This gritty and powerful drive-in paramount also stars a young and menacing Tommy Lee Jones. Things are gonna get much sleazier for our second feature: a brutal, stylish and quietly odd European revenge flick with heavy Tarantino-vibes.
