    Default think i may have stumbled across a collection

    was just in a little village junk/antique shop 2mins from my mums house and was looking through some rubbish lps when the owner came through.. he asked if they were any good and said he had thousands at home and asked what type of music i was looking for.. i said late 60s/70s stuff ,psychedelic etc ...
    he then says what like can tago mago??? said his favourite lp is
    Soon Over Babaluma but he doesnt like tago mago and would i like to buy it... im like aye but can i look through some of your other records.. he agreed and says he'll call us in the next day or 2

    you know this guy then col .. i know this your stomping ground.... the village yox.... not getting my hopes up i must admit.. why bother worrying too much when i can go to norwich tomorrow and get some treats anyways

    if it's the guy who used to run a shop in Sheringham, then yes! Just seems like mad coincidence that he mentions the same records which started my conversation with him. If it is the same guy, much of his collection is from house clearances in the area/pretty rough condition. Got some OK stuff from him in the past but he does know the value of psych/prog as that was always his thing and supposedly recorded the relevant radio shows late60s/early 70s. Would defintely check him out mate. You know you'll score in Norwich anyway!

    could be the same guy ..but the shops in yoxford.. he wasn't a yocal more like slightly posh country type of guy...
    i'll deffo try to get the tago mago off him whatever as we already agreed a fair price..

    hmmm sounds like a different person. If you have time, visit Framlingham too. Wicked castle and there's a shop next to the vintage motorcycle shop with a load of records (well, was approx 3 yrs ago). Good luck!

    I got a few OK things from that shop In Sheringham. The owner definitely wasn't a posh geezer though.

    I hope this pays off for you CS - I've had a lot of let downs regarding 'massive collections' in the past

    man, it must be great to find a whole collection of goodness up for grabs.... i've never hadthat kind of opportunity. hope this all works ou for you there.
