Shouldn't be hard to find the Atacamas online - I've seen the first one around recently, but didn't bother picking it up.

I think you'll be lucky to find a Cair Paravel though.

Did you see the one on ebay about three months ago?

Yeah, there's 2 on netsounds. One is overpriced a bit for the condition, and the other is not in good enough condition.

Yeah, that's the 2nd one I've seen on the bay. Both went for long green, as you would expect.

    I've got two!

Demention of Sound - classic early 80's bootleg of freakbeat/r'n'b 45s, done by the same people as the 'Chocolate Soup' LPs. First place I heard 'Crawdaddy Simone' and a bunch of others...

Faraway Folk - Great folky LP from Devon. There was a track on my last mix CD, as I recall...

We know when a mate buys it for you too.

Damn...I was hoping some of you guys on here might have some of these stashed away in the closet, and wouldn't mind parting with them.

Yeah, they probably were. The LP was recorded in '73, but only released in 1992. More info here:

Depends on what you like. I have it on mp3 CDaaargh!, and thought it was terrific. I'd very much like to score an OG.

Thanks for that info, as I didn't know much about it. Like many want lists, my list has been compiled over the years, not just from old sale lists but also from others' want lists. For instance, I had on my list an album called "Fortunes Of Pisces" by a "band" called Occultia. Supposedly Psych. Well, it turns out the label is called Occultia, and they released a "Fortunes Of..." LP for every sign of the zodiac, (I think,) and they are spoken word astrology LPs with some musical backing. Had I paid the asking price in the list I saw, I probably would have wanted to jump off a bridge. (Both Occultia and Demention were seen on a sale list with scanty info.) Nonetheless, this "Demention" LP will stay on the list, amended to a V.A. LP.

Yeah, I've got it on mp3 and it's quite good. Their "Crow On The Cradle" is a bit lame compared to the Show Of Hands version, though. It's one of my favorite songs.
These do turn up on ebay now and then.

GYGAFO - Apparently the name comes from a particularly testy caretaker of the space where they were rehearsing: "Get Yer Gear And Fuck Off"!!

Like all Holyground releases, it fetches serious money.

I was working on a list and stalled....I don't trade much, obviously.

Otherwise I can type up a list of LPs to the point where I stalled, but it'll be incomplete.

I got the KC album on an expensive CDR from one of the band, (I think.) He had also made up CDRs of CMG, but had sold out. I assume they were limited editions, as he didn't offer to burn me another copy.

    Emilon (1968)
Grapes of Rathe - Glory (1969)
    The Order Of Orpheus (1977)
    Winterwood - Winterwood (197?)

I haven't even heard of any of these. What can anybody tell me about them? Even styles, such as Folk, Prog or Psych would be helpful.

Kathy & Joe Allison - Old Stone Singers (1971)

Not familiar with this one either. Anyone?

Pig Rider is an acetate with only one known copy, if I'm not mistaken.

Emilon has been described as an obscur psychedelic album in Fuzz Acid & Flowers.

A rather average country/folk lp with male and female vocals. Nothing special.

Thanks. I couldn't find a listing for Emilon in FA&FR.

I take it that all of these bands are American?

What tracks did you like on it?

I had a the LP but thought there was only one half decent track on it (Take Me Down), so I got rid of it. Can't understand why it goes for so much - probably just the 'Pokora' hype... people buying it who've never heard it?
