    Dettwork South East by Blak Twang...

    a classic hip-hop track, the only song I know of that mentions my "manor"

    "If you get my meaning,
    Steaming,
    Robbing and stealing, in West Ealing."

    ...wurd. for windows.

    The Animals 'we've gotta get out of this place'
    Gene Pitney 'Town without pity'
    and most importantly;
    Peter, Paul & Mary 'Leaving on a jet plane'

    Twang is as twang does.

    Thanks Sie - would be great to get the Blossom Dearie in MP3 format, just in case - though playing it out would break all ILN rules ! I think the only MP3 played was of an old 78, which was fair enough..... but - it's all about the music after all, and that does seem to be a key track. (I have the Peddlers).
