    Hello Excavators,

What else was used on this album? i seem to remember hearing small faces - collibosher or ogdens? charlies theme by jimi entley / portishead? a cover of strawberry fields forever? The dell's love is blue/sing a rainbow forms the basis of 'i see colours'.Then again being stuck at work i can't remember what was used on what track

Also-I thought the organ was off Ogden nut gome flake.
I see colours-"i can sing a rainbow"By the dells(red red my eyes are red)
Beauty uses interlude 0ff little boy blues lp(woodland of weir),the scream on torture sounds like wilson pickett offa engine number nine, and i think i spot a tiny piece of ramsey lewis on Science of the two(one of the interludes of mother nature)or am i clutching at straws?
Sounds like Bowie talking on intro(which is based on belda beast by iron butterfly).
Top lp but i prefer his beats to his rhymes.

I only re-discovered the track this week when Craig told me that Towny had played a nice Hollies track and asked if I had it. Hadn't listened to the LP for years but definitely a killer track and used to great effect by Edan

Another sampled track is on that Generation Gap LP Theme From Shaft And Others (RCA)....can't remember the track name.

The as mentioned Little Boy Blues/Strawberry Fields combination is so nice! Genius producer and super MC for me.

    Default flipping brilliant

Thaks a lot chaps, I do have it! Now to don mask and gloves and enter that dark zone under the bed! On the Hollies note, the bass player, Bernie Calvert is alive and well and working at Sainsburys in Burnley.
    Check his vitals here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Calvert

    Thanks a million!
