Excellent. I have his 'Pussycats Can Go Far' LP which has lots of good moments. Nothing on there is going to set the world alight but there are plenty I can listen to again and again such as this one which is an in-car classic for us. It's a perfect pop record for me. He straddles quite a few styles in a way that people no longer do.

I thought a similar thing he has a unique upbeat take on style, it all sounds kind of west coast and very rock and roll with a bit of everything else mixed in. You could say it has a shambolic feel certainly on the two I picked up but it's clearly him just getting lost in it all and going for it, sounds a proper character too.

The two albums I have are far from solid but that track hit me straight away he even gets away with segueing into Little Richard at the end. They'll probably grow on me especially the 'Buzzy' one.

I had a chance to pickup that Pussycat album from the same seller for a quid as I was making up a bulk purchase but was unsure whether he was going to hit me with silly postage charges but turns out he was fairer than fair so I missed out. I cant remember what I was bulking out but do remember he had a lot of odd ball records going through. I say odd ball, what I really mean is he had interesting stuff and not lots of Kenneth McKellar and Readers Digest records.

Some deep jazzy enka, Noboru Ando. Need more of his LP's but they're damn hard to find.

This from a freebie from Bongolia its from 1969 and immediately put me in mind of 'Farmers Market' who if you know them did insanely complex balkan jazz fusion from the 90's onward. Apparently it's in a 33/16 time signature I'd never have worked that out, but I knew it was odd! :

Oh and 'Farmers Market' to remind myself what they sound like, head bending. :
