    Thumbs up Killer Nigerian business

I'm sure some of you have already picked up these lovely, lovely comps, but check out the fan-site that a mate of mine has been working on:

    http://www.nigeriaspecial.info/

Very very nice stuff, with all kinds of mad features that don't usually appear on these kinds of sites, no?

    Enjoy.

Great site, but the blog made made me a little bit sad in my heart

"Add to this, 30 years of storage and neglect and you begin to get close to the problem faced when re-issuing obscure Nigerian music, particularly when there are no master tapes and the only copies left are the original vinyls"

"Not only that but the WHOLE COVER is UNCREASED with only 2 or 3 TINY creaselines near the opening edge about half way down!!!! In the same place (about half way down the opening edge), there is an absolutely TINY and PERFECTLY repaired split" (xxxrecords)

    Crikey. You load of pednats.
vinyl is used as a plural term in quite a few foreign languages to refer to records.
and french and spanish at least have the same word (disco/disque) for records and CDs, so vinyls is quicker.
