I like the B-side on the Egbert Douwe
What are the top two 45s? I can't make them out.

That Dave Pike's a good 'un, nice find. Hope it was a reasonable price.

What's the sticker say on the Profondo Rosso (sad question maybe)?

nice find with the Don. Was it cheap. Mines at 45 although it is billed as an album.

Great record. It's a blues -based jazz guitar, but being that it's on Delmark and has players like Kalaparusha it has some really nice outish moments, very spacey organ work too, I really dig it. somebody should jump on this..or maybe I'll upgrade my VG copy...

Coincidence - I picked up one of these today for 50p. And yes, the b-side is fantastic ('Geraldine')

I've got Flute Talk on cassette - I really like it, or I would if the tape didn't slow down and jam up the machine halfway through track one!

The Art Farmer record is great - but they could have had more Sadu for my taste
I've got the Louis Armstrong too - but a different press - on I think the Bluebird label - absolutely fantastic off the wal version of the Creator has a Master Plan - the rest is not as good if you ask me
The Ancient Gods LP is by Absolute Elsewhere and was, I think, a bit of a vanity project for someone called Paul Fishman and has Bil Bruford on it. Some really good moments but lots of meandering too. Packaging is fab though

What do you do with all the spare records?? PM me if you don't want the George Freeman or Doc Stevenson records

agreed times two. original pressing of the Armstrong is on Bob Thiele's Flying Dutchman/ Phillips (i think?). wonderful piece of music, regardless of the pressing...

Done today, twas £3. Quite nice slice of krautpop that. The B-side wasn't Gealdine though but Get Away, it's a german pic sleeve. Sounds a bit thin, I suppose the UK press's where it's at?

Also picked up these for £1,5:

The Rattles - After Tea/Thank You
Fat Matress - Magic Forest/Petrol Pump Assistant
    Allright popsike both of them.

    Some elpees from friday:
Ola & The Janglers - Surprise Surprise (No No No skipped when I played it in the shop so I got it for 3 quid, played fine when I came home!)
    Vanilla Fudge - Renaissance
Blues Anytime Vol. 1 (Immediate comp.)

If this is the German press on Fontana then it's a totally different recording to the UK hit version on Decca. I like both versions, though I would say that the Decca is a bit punchier.
