[QUOTE=LDJB;232913 Why do they persist with the industrial strength price stickers - aaarghh!

I use Perma Petrol lighter fluid (or something similar) and soak the pesky sticker and then it peels off easily. It also cleans up record covers too!

    Works a treat for me.

You haven't dealt with the price stickers at Cob, have you?

Lighter fluid has never worked for me. Unlaminated US lp sleeves? Seven inch labels? Nothing is same from the horrors of Cob's price stickers

The one you needle dropped is £40.00 in the price guide, rarely turn up though, but unless it was minty i'd probably pass. Great LP's, prefer them to his so called "legendary" LP's

It was certainly Ex/Ex, possibly NM, so probably pretty fairly priced then. Forty quid is about four times my usual absolute upper limit, but I'd have been very tempted to take the plunge for £20 or so in this case...nice vibe to it and some heavy drums, but Korner's slightly mannered vocal just a bit too far forward in the mix, maybe? Good, though.

True - picked it up in trade knowing nothing much about it but curious about the Project 3/Enoch Light link, and, yes, really much, much stronger than I expected. Can see that one getting a lot of plays while the good weather holds!

Trouble is few turn up & when priced at £20.00 would tend to stick around for all of a nano second as most collectors would see greedbay $ signs in their eyes, or at least a very good trade.

Just got round to spinning the otherside and yes "I had a dream" does indeed suck.
