Its no bad thing, we don't have to talk to them for 8 weeks or so . More time to play the vinyl, and time to watch the DVD's you've been meaning to catch up on that she won't watch (assuming you have another TV). I'm gonna watch "Lets Rock" (strummer), Punk Rock (Don Letts), and Sweeny Todd (Johnny Depp) first.

I wouldn't bother wth Sweeny Todd if I were you - I was really disappointed - looks great but the music is fairly pedestrian and the singing is average

Not sure - I'll just ask
She thinks he's good looking but doesn't understand why I'm interupting her Big Brother time by asking obvious questions

I've been watching. My excuse is that I work for a TV magazine.

    Early predictions:

    Darnell to win.

I like Sylvia. (The keener of you will notice that that's not a prediction, but she is quite lovely dammit)

Mario is exactly one part Sly Stallone to one part Joey from Friends.

And although it's early days, the prize for most irritating housemate looks like a straight fight between Rebecca (a Beth Ditto for idiots) and Dennis.

Going on past years, I won't have the stamina to follow it much beyond tonight, but now I have a young child, you never know...

The girl from sierra leone was smoking hot - I'm being forced to watch BB of course.

I spotted the beth ditton reference too! And the stallone/joey - Twas spooky.

Is Mikey going to win because of the blind card? He seemed quite a complex character.

Darnell looked like jim carey from the mask - only white.

Think you are being a wee bit optimistic there - isn't it about 20 weeks at least? Why does it take up so many channels - Little Brother, Creepy Brother, 24hr Live sex Brother, Oh Brother where are your clothes, Big Brother the Gaylord, Good morning with a Big Brother, Small brother, BBCCTV, Online Big Brother, VGBB+, Big Brother The Musical, Big Brother The Novel, Big Sister....... zzzzzzzz

If I am unfortunate to watch any T.V over the next however many months it's on I think I may just slit my wrists and be done with it.

Thank christ on a popsicle that music is in my life.

Can someone not just do us a flavor and mow down the fuckers as they come out?? I had the misfortune to hear that annoying footballers wife wannabe on Motormouth moyles's show yesterday morning. She needs her freakin' tounge cutting out.

AAAAARrrrrrrGGGggghhh - the world of the 5min celeb is killing me slowly man.

My Father's daughter-in-law's husband's brother watched a bit of big brother but then realised the "freebies" he had aquired from the chip shop were cod roe and turned it off in disgust.

I did a bit of body doubling in this and I still haven't seen it. Looks a bit gruesome, but I AM curious about whether I sped past in the credits
"Not only that but the WHOLE COVER is UNCREASED with only 2 or 3 TINY creaselines near the opening edge about half way down!!!! In the same place (about half way down the opening edge), there is an absolutely TINY and PERFECTLY repaired split" (xxxrecords)

The original with Tod Slaughter is the one, fella - proper barnstorming, moustache twiddling melodrama from 1936, and Slaughter is incredible.

That was on BBC2 just the other evening.
Attention!!! I know this is a very expensive Price for the record. This i one of my most beloved Records, so my primary intention isn't the selling. I like it in my collection. I only will sell it, if someone wants it that much, that he is willing to pay that much money. Therefore the unrealistic price. Please don't tell me about it. I don't want to cheat ,I don't force someone into buying it, I don't want to drive up the price. Thanks for understanding

Sorry Ashra, I didn't answer sooner, was watching a film called The Beast on Bravo about a Russian tank crew in Afghanistan and it held my attention till the end. She likes Johnny Depp but hates musicals so that the reason she won't watch it.
20 weeks!!! oh my god, talk about filling the schedules with crap, cheap TV. Good job its not on the BBC and I would feel like I'm paying for it. Please lets not turn this thread into a daily update forum on the occupants of the BB house, we'll get all sorts of weirdo's tapping in

If you're stuck in like me tonight and 'er indoors' has got Big Brother on you could do worse than flick over to the TCM channel. "That'll be the Day" is on now followed by "Stardust". Couple of great music related films if you've not seen 'em.
