    Default ?rockabilly Help Needed?

Got passed three UK bits from a relative who wanted to know the scoop on these lp's He was hipped to by a rocking work colleague of his. I did some homework and all I know is that the first one is best and indeed the rarest. Oddly enough they were not released in the UK till fairly recently but still retain some value. I referred to the book and it seems they are all collectable but does anybody here know their real value and more importantly, are they sought after? Again, I'm just doing a family member a favour here so this is not a prelude to a sale. Any help here will be greatfully received and passed on to the mystified owner.........!

I got the Rough House 88 album on Ember, worth about £15 - 20 minty I'd say . What's in the grooves is total goodness.....wouldn't call it Rockabilly though - more like Western Swing / R&B.

Since you're in London, I recommend you bring them to Barney at Sounds That Swing in Camden Town for a look-see. He'll set you straight.
