I found some valuble information today from a good reliable source (a charidy shop assistant),
apparently anyone wishing to see Klaus Wunderlich in concert, there is a 2 year waiting list for tickets!
He also said they usually sell out in under 3 hours (not sure how that one works, but hey, who am I to argue?)
He also pointed out that most of the sales are done over the internet,
which isn't realy fair as most people (I assume he means old people) don't have the internet!

It's much easier to see James Last, so fear not!

well I had to depart as i had pressing diging matters, but if anyone wants any info on tickets to see aging band leaders i can enquire

played here in Dublin last week. Sadly the lure of Laibach proved somewhat stronger. Especialyl as he was playing in a horrible venue for lots of money.

It's not one of those Klaus Wunderlich set-ups where the old crew carries on even when the deceased main attraction's long gone, is it? When in London, Sun Ra's Arkestra (minus Ra), Woody Herman's Big Band (sans Woody) and many others were all turning up on a regular basis. My favourites in that respect are Bill Black's Combo - still knocking out records into the 1980s, even though Bill retired in the early 60s, and died not too long afterwards. And obviously the Klaus name still has the pulling power with your Grey Panthers, even (maybe especially) without old Klaus on the organ...

did you pick that up fairly recently from a brizzle charity, sir? That looks like my old copy - came from 'Save the Poor Cats' in Penarth last year, returned to the eternal cycle a couple of months ago on Gloucester Road probably....it certainly had the same sticker in a similar place. It's crap, isn't it?
