Default Rolling Stones on Oak Records

I have a 12" Oak Records LP which appears to have a number of tracks from the band's recording sessions @ Chess studios, Chicago, US. A compilation, from which the tracks for the first EP were extracted !
Any info or value would be much appreciated

If you had stopped by long enough to answer a few questions at the time, you'd doubtless have the full picture by now!

However, to add to it- if it's pressed on Oak records, and was recorded at Chess Studios, I'd be mighty suspicious. Suppose an early recording done AT RG Morden could have been pressed on Oak, but if it's chicago recordings, it's obviously from way after they were successful, and would have had no need to press stuff on a tiny label like Oak

Hope to see you in '09- Don't be a stranger, eh

    Hey Roger

Brilliant you took the time to stop by again... I'm guessing from your infrequent posts you must spend a fair bit of time on the road - finding many other interesting discs on your travels, or still just got the same three?

Maybe just stick the Stones acetate into a specialist auction and you might be able to retire. Oh, hang on, someone told you that a year ago...
