Default Xmas Swap update 30 November.

    the CDs got swapped yesterday.

    it was fun.

the following cast of helpers should be in your thoughts this Christmas:

Eclipsechaser: running a double header of bottles of stella with cup-of-tea chasers all afternoon. good effort.
Rich Hero: Mr Ubiquitous. Found he'd snuck into the house last night and bagged a bed. He may still be here... he must have enjoyed being scared witless by my son.
Bongolia: mince pie deliverer, and workshy fop. spent far too much time chatting with
45 Whiskers: lives round the corner, buggered off there without even staying for dinner. he is slim. these facts may be connected.
Ian Townsend: from MK to Sundae-ville to SE13 to Northampton is all in day's work for this road warrior. skillz. 4 sets of disks arrived by his good grace. be thankful, folks.
Theeman: "if they had a comedy act that took the piss out of the worst excesses of jazz, this would be it"
LLmod1: sterling effort, sickboy of the day. one phonecall and he leapt into swap action just in time to add his disks to the finished piles, the gloryhunter. wearing more than just pants and a duvet by the time he arrived. we were all very thankful for this.
Tom B: Brother Logic and Lady J's mule of choice has had his signature changed.
    Pitch: lovely haircut.

A big thankyou also to my wife Maria and son Noah, who took the geekery in their stride. By leaving the house for the day.

To Meze Mangal. Those who know will know why.

Now all we need are the last 4 sets of disks (you know who you are, and so will everyone else if I don't have your disks by the agreed date!!!!) and i can get all the packages in the mail in time for Christmas.

Between Stella and tea, Eclipsechaser took lots of photos. Expect to see them here.

Hat's off to all those who helped....a very cool gesture.

And Alan to be added to the Xmas Honours list as I can't begin to imagine what a pain in the arse organising this must be.

A huge thank you to Alan and everyone else who worked hard to make this happen. So glad I managed to get my set sorted in the end - Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a VV/VG+ mix swap!

    Cheers all....awww... love you guys....

Thanks to Alan for hosting the afternoon in his Dickensian mansion. (Alan; give my regards to the old woman in the faded wedding dress who I passed on the stairs will you please?)

Great to meet a 'new plusser' - Mr 45 Whiskers - who I initially thought was Alan's son until someone put me straight.

Brilliant seeing the long line of CD's watching each pile get higher and higher as the plusser worker ants busily piled them on.

    Artwork to die for too.

    It's now officially Xmas.

A big thank you to you too, Alan and the Family Jazz, for your hospitality. The pressure's on Tom B now to ensure next year's goes as smoothly.

(I'm still here by the way. Can you unlock the west wing again now?).

Thanks to everyone involved and special thanks to Alanmck for cracking the whip and making it happen

Attention!!! I know this is a very expensive Price for the record. This i one of my most beloved Records, so my primary intention isn't the selling. I like it in my collection. I only will sell it, if someone wants it that much, that he is willing to pay that much money. Therefore the unrealistic price. Please don't tell me about it. I don't want to cheat ,I don't force someone into buying it, I don't want to drive up the price. Thanks for understanding

A bunch of people are still to send funds to cover return postage. Please get in touch, I'll let you know the cost. Can be cash, cheque or Paypal (a wee bit extra on the Paypal, to cover the charges).

PM me ASAP to get this sorted.

    Thanks,

    Alan.

there was supposed to be a tracklisting last year as well....

just do one for this year, and I'll do what I can to stop Ian Townsend giving Purple Aki your address.
