    Not fun.

    The one time I can see an advantage of mp3s.

    Yeah, I also had to move last year. After that traumatic experience, lying in bed with an injured back, I hated records
    Soon after I reduced the lp collection in half... still kept the 7"s though.

    It's hell with records. Large quantities of CDs, DVDs, VHS and books don't help either.

    The last move I made was from a rented basement flat to our own (first) house.

    Had to negotiate a narrow stairs from the ground floor to the basement and around 15 steps from the front door down to the path. Started at 6.00am, finished at 4.00pm.

    I don't ever wanna move again.

    I chucked about 200 VHS and a load of books out the other day - kind of depressing to think you spend some time/money collecting something and in a moment chuck it all out. I really need to go minimalist I think!

    Two weeks and counting for us. Highly tempted to start packing the records now and leave myself with only the VG+ Swap cds to listen to.
