    Default Getting rid of a repeating click

    Wet the end of a match, and push it hard in the direction of the groove over the scratched area

    It CAN push through the crud left by the scratch and reduce or remove the popping noise

    It's a bit brutal, but it does the job- tried it on a few records I'd consigned to the 'never touch' pile, and I'm pretty pleased with the results
    "Not only that but the WHOLE COVER is UNCREASED with only 2 or 3 TINY creaselines near the opening edge about half way down!!!! In the same place (about half way down the opening edge), there is an absolutely TINY and PERFECTLY repaired split" (xxxrecords)

    Which end?

    SEALED, this has a sticker on the front reading "COLOUR VINYL" so it's probably not black vinyl, even though black is a colour.
