I too have a whole bunch of 10"s, but the two I return to time and time again are these tormented, abstract, modernist masterpieces:

    To infinity - and beyond!

10"s are great. Here are a few others...

I love the sleeves on the Hugh Tracey 'Music of Africa' series, I think I've got about half-a-dozen of those.

But generally, ten-inch records are everywhere, aren't they?

Loads from the 50s, obviously, and loads more from the punk era onwards as gimmicks, masses of library ones, dance, reggae....

Very few 'proper' hip hop 10's, I'd have thought, but otherwise hardly that unusual.

                      What about 4", 5", 6", 8" or 9" though?
We know when a mate buys it for you too.

I dunno if 10"s are everywhere! I have been collecting them for sometime
and have loads of 'em in boring plain white sleeves etc but rarely come across them now.
There are some 10"s in unusual sleeves like this one by Fresh From The Womb.
It folds out into a origami sleeve like those finger folding things we did at
school, shame the record is rubbish but the sleeve is great!
The only other size I could find is an ancient & very tiny flexidisc which I will post up soon

I would like a copy of this

Btw I lost interest on GZM when they split. Dunno why but I never bothered to check out any of the solo efforts by Euros Childs. Do I miss something fellows?

And this - probably the best sleeve I've seen this year anywhere! Ace

yeah that GZM 10" is great, it has Heart Of Kentucky on it too
which is one of my fave tunes, I don't think your missing much
on the EC solo stuff to be honest. Unlike say Gruff of SFA who
pops up all over the place and does great stuff like Neon Neon
Euros just keeps it erm, real and traditional, nowt wrong with that
and all, just d u l l (compared to his earlier work)
I found some more this afternoon, this first one is a 10" brown vinyl
flexidisc which came in a paper & cardboard sleeve and is, wait for it...
SELF CHANGING! and unbreakable AND unscratchable! It's also the oldest record I have.

the rest are quite boring in comparison but the tunes are good.

pre Warp - Anti Pop Consortium 10" in a bag with a sticker

                              numbered early Faultline single

cLOUDDEAD 10" with Boards Of Canada remix

Motorhead vs. Girlschool ~ "doncha touch me baby coz i'm shakin so much"
