Default Edward Williams - Life on Earth Trunk re-ish

Intrigued to see this has just been reissued, as I pulled an orig from a Clifton chaz a little while back (thanks Johnny!).

    Does anyone else dig this?

I had it on as backing muzak when JamesF was round t'other day and we both got quite absorbed in it. Dave Attenborough chips in with some apocalyptic lyrics on the last track - very atmospheric. The electronic track is also pretty cool. . .

I really liked that LP the whole way through, I could stare at the doodles on the cover alone for hours. I also like that last track about Mankind working towards cocking everything up in such a short space of time.

TBH I was going to leave it, but it's actually pretty good. Thanks to Johnny I guess it's now officially "raer".

But I guess wot with Briz being the home of the natural 'istory unit, it would be most likely to pop up here.

Wonder if there are any other BBC private pressy jobbies out there. . . hmm.

Yeah, the last track was cool. . . Dave's dire predictions drifting in and out of phase. The end is nigh.

Got a loan of the DVD which I was watching last week and liked the music more than I expected.

Edward Williams was interviewed on the Today Programme (Radio 4) this morning at 8.45am.

UK folks can do that listen again / iPlayer thingy I should imagine.
