her music or the congratulatory note she sent to Thatcher in 1979?

Petula Clark: "Felicitations. So happy for you and for Britain."

Peter Sellers' message was similarly effusive:

"Dear Mrs Thatcher as an ex-Goon from East Finchley I send you many congratulations on your marvellous victory."

    A Tall Pucker

She was pretty impressive on the old multi-lingual side of things - Italian, German, Spanish and, obviously French. Any others?
Always had a bit of a problem with her voice though. It's ok but lacking something - passion, maybe?

I heard a very funny story about her just the other day but unfortunately it's too rude to repeat in public.

I'm sure she won't mind. We won't tell anyone else.

    Tell it in anagrams.

Did it involve her going 'downtown' maybe?

I was running the sound at a charity concert she did, a couple of years ago. Had to show her how to use a radio mic. It took some work; she didn't seem to grasp the concept readily.

Attention!!! I know this is a very expensive Price for the record. This i one of my most beloved Records, so my primary intention isn't the selling. I like it in my collection. I only will sell it, if someone wants it that much, that he is willing to pay that much money. Therefore the unrealistic price. Please don't tell me about it. I don't want to cheat ,I don't force someone into buying it, I don't want to drive up the price. Thanks for understanding

I am rather partial to her LP Petula '71 produced by Johnny Harris. In particular the track - The World Song..... but it doesn't seem to be that well known - and no youtube clip.....
