It's a gimmicky thing... nothing more nothing less... will appeal to collectors of Lego/toys/curious objects more than music-lovers. Not that there's anything wrong with being a Lego collector - I know a few people that like those limited edition specialties.

I think it's great.

Someone who obviously loves vinyl & is making something fun (even spending a lot of money to make it).

If I had the money & the time to do this sort of thing, I would. Pressing vinyl these days is damn costly so I shudder to think how much it would cost.

I quite like the new Dead Weather album too.

Yeah, that's what I thought too....despite whatever you think of Jack White/his music (I actually quite like some Dead Weather tunes myself), got to respect him making the effort with these releases...

I like how the music continues playing after Jack lifts the needle but stops when he turns the power switch. I think someone needs to tell the sound editor how record players work
