    Default Jerusalem

In case anyone's interested, I've just posted a load of rare stuff about this boneheaded early 70s hard rock band at my blog. Here's the link:

Love the Jerusalem LP. Apparently Rockadrome are releasing a whole bunch of recordings made under the Pussy name soon. The sole Pussy single is pretty hot too

Jerusalem Lp is great, very heavy and ahead of it's time. I own an original UK Pressing. I also have the recent Rockadrome reissue on vinyl.

Remind me to never play you at poker...

Looks like I'll be picking up the re-issue then? Can swap you a van-load of Gregg's pasties for it if you like...

I owe you one Andy... at least a pint or to at Utrecht if not an OG of the LP

I wouldn't have been the first time I passed on an LP that I'd half listen to whilst running through a big-ish batch of new LPs

Still I'd like that "Kamakazi Moth" 45

A couple of minor points on this - 'the book' lists a red label version of this and lists it a lower price - though I've only ever seen a brown label one (also the one I own). Has the RRPG put these the wrong way round?

Also, my copy of the single has the same 'Demonstration sample' box on it. I wonder if it was ever actually released?

I can scan you the Pussy single too if you want to add that to the blog

'Kamakazi Moth'? I saw a UK press the other month but I don't remember whether or not it was a demo. I have a German issue with a picture sleeve (the same as the LP) with the legend 'produced by Ian Gillan' at the bottom.

First pressings on Deram are brown labels, and red labels are later pressings. Still originals, but slightly later. If you look at popsike there's plenty of both versions...

Not sure where the discussion ended as to the existence of this 45 as a UK stock copy, but I recently found one, so there we are! Case closed.
