I thought I saw one once (ghost - not UFO - never seen one of them) but I had been underage drinking at the time. Seen nowt as a sober adult - shame really.

Tell us about your 5 sightings Eric.

A hairless American once told me at great length of the time he had seen a series of UFOs in the starry night 'way out on Long Island'. This was at the height of the 90s 'Greys'/Area 51 thing.

He ended his story with 'and I was on acid at the time man, so you can imagine how freaked out I was' with absolutely no irony whatsoever - he totally denied any connection between the aliens and his trip. It was the first time I realised America was an odd place.

    Any good UFO tracks?

Yes, experienced both (not to say an alien as such but an aircraft which is beyond any available technology we're aware of).

Saw what I think was a ghost once. And have probably bored everyone with the story already. But here it is again:

It was a cold, dark night... no, really it was! It was about ten years ago and I was cycling one winter evening about 7pm, so proper dark by then. I was out in the country about 5 miles from home. I was on a narrow lane that I knew well. As I was going along I glanced up and saw an old lady in a long coat up ahead, going in the same direction as me. I thought it a little strange, as there's not any houses around there, but I put my head down and carried on. But when I looked up again a few seconds later there was no one there. Spooky, I thought, but I didn't stop to investigate. A day or two later I was on the same lane in the daytime. I knew it already, but I stopped to confirm it anyway, but where I'd seen her there was an old broken down gate in the trees at the edge of the lane, and beyond it the remains of an old cottage in a small clearing, just a couple of courses of bricks and one gable end with fireplace left. Um, that's it really

Then there was the time I met my guardian angel

    And the wildcat I spotted

But they're stories for another thread

Brian from Most haunted came in the shop today. Then I come on here and we have a ghost thread, spooky(sorry)

About ten years too late catching/talking to the ghost I had kicking about. I killed it somehow.

    He was after Who records.
