yeah ive got a few, i just wondered why they sell for more than an original with cover and stuff.

i suppose its because they are limited to 5 or something?

Every time I've ever got test pressings back from the plant, the notable difference has been that the b-side plate is off centre.
"Not only that but the WHOLE COVER is UNCREASED with only 2 or 3 TINY creaselines near the opening edge about half way down!!!! In the same place (about half way down the opening edge), there is an absolutely TINY and PERFECTLY repaired split" (xxxrecords)

If one has a sealing machine one can seal any old record, as someone who worked at HMV many many years ago told me, shhhhhhh, keep it under your hat
Attention!!! I know this is a very expensive Price for the record. This i one of my most beloved Records, so my primary intention isn't the selling. I like it in my collection. I only will sell it, if someone wants it that much, that he is willing to pay that much money. Therefore the unrealistic price. Please don't tell me about it. I don't want to cheat ,I don't force someone into buying it, I don't want to drive up the price. Thanks for understanding

One of my early jobs was sealing LP's at Our Price, including the ones that had been brought back for refunds.

I just sent a 'still sealed' LP back to the seller. When I broke the seal there was a seam split all along the top edge and the record was scratched to buggery

The Rock Detective says "case closed m'lud, 'still sealed' is a description not entirely trustworthy."
