well done! (you're holding Josif Vainshtein jazz orchestra LP, it has two great tracks, i just recently discovered it)

store has been open almost month, it's part of Raamatukoi old book store. it's really brave move to start second hand vinyl record store in Tallinn, but at least it's the good kind of store. i haven't made any good scores yet!
have you got Sven Grünberg 7" now?

Martin, I had some tough decisions to make, in order to save some dough for other pursuits later that day, so I 'm shamed to say I left a copy behind, as well as spares of couple Jaan Kuman 7"s (still no "Gloobus", though) - instead picked up a couple interesting cheapie lps...yeah, that Vainshtein lp is a nice one indeed, it appeared I already had it with different sleeve...

    Osaka Record Fair, early doors

Thought about buying this purely for the bizarre quotient (Union Carbide in environmental push), but the water-themed collection of songs looked utter pish.

    Here's Workshop in Kyoto ...

Best shop in town by a long chalk, and they even put their grading system on the wall.

Disk Union had a big sale on today. It was in Shibuya, but the records were from DU stores from all over the place.
Was going to meet up with the one Plainstone but our timing was off due to a number of factors.

The sale opened at the un-godly hour of 9:30am, but the start time to get the tickets to get in was down-right demonic: 8:00am.
    I got there a bit late... 8:05am:

Line up (in ticket order) at about 9am. The line behind me was almost as long.
The room was on the 7th floor so we were herded in by elevator, 10 by 10.

Frenzy. Actually this pic doesnt give a good indication of how bad the elbow fest was at the beginning.

    Finds:

Just looking at those pics I'm happy I did the third day of the Osaka fair instead of the first day of the DU sale.

1.95 for a Mothers Fillmore East with a chunk out of it?

Or a VG- Warm Dust missing the cover and the other disc?

Just two of the disasters that ended my charity shop challenge.

Here we go. This is where I spent my pocket money as a teenager:

Notice clothes shop at back ('Browser's Paradise')...

...which has also (I think) spread out to the floor above...

So it's perfect for your non-gender specific clothes enjoying significant other to spend some time whilst you do the same.

I only walked away with one 7" - King's Lead Hat for £3, which I was rather pleased with.

Same seller. I've plotted the graph, extrapolated to 2012 and calculated that Col owes you 4p.
