Probably well known round these parts? Some funky jazz moments. Possibly a break? I might be lying about that bit...
You're not lying. Good funky big band.

Good thread this Boney. I will contribute something at some point.

If it's too fusioney for my taste I'd rather give someone who'd enjoy it more a chance,

Steve Mulligan / Steve Franklin / Roy Dodd - Steps. No, not that Steps! The Steps that sounds a bit more like Weather Report.
For what it's worth, there's one on CD and LP for 25 at the moment. This one's loads cheaper at 0.

bit confusing, but on the basis of the above, presumably this is available again? quite like jazz-funk so i'll grab it if so - have some bits to offer up

also, can we slow this thread down a bit? i don't live here 24/7 and keep missing quality gear...

The Incredible Jimmy Smith - Home Cookin' (Blue Note) 1960 LP US press in EX shape (probably a mid 60's copy judging by the inner sleeve confirming 27 years of Blue Note up to that point)

    GONE (in a heartbeat)

Ahh! Dilemma: You got there just before a PM from someone else asking for that LP.

Can an independent adjudicator please tell me who should get it, it's simply too much pressure for me

    This is a great thread!

I'm finding it hard not to try and bag pretty much all the stuff that's come up so far.

It's actually a great way to trade!

One more from me. A nice copy of this with Oh What a Woman on it. Though I'm reluctant to use the label (as it seems to be a term beyond definition ) its a VG+ classic...

    First PM bags it...

It has got those things in the runout Boney (and label address). I guess that means it is the 1st press. The jazzer who got it didn't ask

Glad it's going to a home who'll appreciate it more than I did. Was gutted when I bought it in the early 90's to discover no funky breaks...nothings changed with my buying habits

    A Great record.
Suprising find in a box of chuff. This 'aint a double, but I cant deal with the edge warp / heat damage.

Some issues with condition - not in respect of scratches or marks, but a heat type warp - still plays though, although not recommended if you are seasick and/or pissed. Playing through will depend on you deck / stylus - I've got 1210 with bog standard needle - skips initially, but depends on the mood!!! Its free any how plays ok after the intro

    1st PM gets it.

I tried to jump on it but the security tag or something timed out. Logged off then back into the forum and went to the post and realised I already have it.
