well after a bad experience with a web server that took down 120 scans for copyright problems I now have a new site with some scans of cool looking lps. Please check:

no real pattern. going back and forth through the collection and grabbing stuff. And of course the "Dance Party" comes via the Vultures.

how are you scanning the covers?
do u have a large scanner?

i was gonna do a few scans myself but the scanner i got is a a4 one so itll take me ages

Yes I'm scanning them, but it's on a regular size scanner. If you look closely enough, the bottom of most of the covers is cut off a bit. And yes, it does take a while. It takes 2 scans to get the full cover. Then I got to Photoshop which now has a Panorama feature which will put the 2 parts together for you. I've found that if you shrink the pictures down to about 400, it goes much, MUCH faster then if you keep them in their original size.

this is a well under-rated LP - looks real cheesy but a really nice deep Mulatu style track on it, MOzambique I think it's called. well worth picking up
