& probably true..
line-up looks good craig, & i'm looking forward to seeing a few friendly faces & hearing something different & varied..
tanners refit? metallic grey on outside, mild maroon on inside. maybe 'a work in progress.' perhaps fuzzy warbles can colourise the old grey matter..

Are people bring trades? I reckon I might have a few if people are game...
I will be bunging up a list of freebies for people to claim but I'm a bit short on the decent trades front at the moment.

Looking forward to this!![]()
"Hangin' out with you two is like partying with Fugazi"
Yep looking forward to it... hopefully a few mates are going to pop by according to texts I've received...
Bad news - I've got a bit of a problem with recording it this year - the equipment is ok but my memory stick with the massive memory is corrupt and I doubt I'll have time to get a new one. Anyone got one we can use on the night? I can't remember how big the file was last time but it was fairly monsterous.

Jazz raers set?

Groovers - where are the pictures and the playlists..?Looking forward to seeing them...
Sorry I couldn't make it - I consoled myself by finding 24 exquisite South American records*, involuntairly joining a 5,000-strong Legalise Marijuana protect march** and then eating a big steak in the presence of Crosby, Stills & Nash***
* - finds post will go up once I get home
** - it was more of a stumble than a march
*** - they were sat on the next table to me..!

it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.
It is true..!... we didn't take any photos because they were sitting just a few metres away - it would have looked really obvious. Also, we didn't have a camera..!
I did consider using the Blackberry, but again it was just too obvious. No one else in the restaurant clocked who it was.
CS&N were playing at Luna Park on Sunday night, the restaurant we were at in Puerto Merado is just a 5 mins walk from the venue.
"Sometimes I get a hot ear..."
What were their topics of conversation? Did you introduce yourself? Don't tell me you were that close to those gentlemen and you didn't take the opportunity to talk to them...
I would have had to pinch myself as I thought at least two out of three of them were dead..., but you've got to use the ole "what are you gentlemen drinking" line for sure
.
They were sat with the band/entourage (table of 10 in total) chatting about the tour, laughing, so it seemed rude to wander over and start requesting autographs and pics... plus it was so obvious that none of the Argentinians knew who they were - seemed a shame to spoil their relaxing evening.
David Crosby was drinking red wine, the other 2 had their backs to me...
"Sometimes I get a hot ear..."
I should say a big thanks to Ian Townsend, who I don't know that well but he purchased me a pint AND thrust some mix CD freebie's into mine and my mate's hands which we both have enjoyed listening to! Ditto the usual lot who it was good to have a natter with/perv over record bags...!
Excellent cheers Craig - look forward to seeing / hearing the replay![]()
*I've only just spotted the playlist thread - I know very few tracks in those sets but the reviews have got me very keen to hear what was spun - it looks a cracking evening

Will defo keep May clear for next years event!
Time to say peace...
A mate of mine went to see CSN at the Sage up here in Gateshead... waited outside the loading bay hoping to catch one or all for autographs and there was a catering guy kicking off because he couldnt park his lorry in a certain place as there were three tour buses taking up the spaces... somebody came out with a Sage uniform on and said "I'm really sorry, can you deliver to the side door?"... my mate had a wander over to ask if he could get something signed and the guy said "Their tour manager said they hate each other's guts so they're touring in seperate buses then performing on seats spread apart over the stage as far as we can get them!!"
:-)
He waited for Roger Daltrey for 4 hours sat outside the Sage on his lambretta with some Who stuff he wanted autographed, only for Daltrey to walk out with his PA after soundcheck, say he couldn't be arsed signing anything and jump into a taxi...
