Default cheesy home made record sleeves /covers

I seem to recall (vaguely) this subject coming up but couldn't find the thread.

Anyway, picked this up today and thought it worth sharing for sheer absurdity value. Particularly the underlying theme of violence in cartoon and photo form! That couple in the photo in the second scan seem familiar, who are they?

The Atoms (Keith Allen) - Max Bygraves Killed My Mother -

I've got this single at home. Hand made its's got this letter inside and a photo of some weird Italian looking dude I think.

I got postcards, offical letters and had to glue the labels on myself. didn't get an Italian bloke, though.
Could be Gino Newton, the hitman who shot Rinka, Norman Scotts dog, in the Jeremy Thorpe scandal?. The label is named after the poor hound.

ha ha very good. Yeah true about the label and it just occured to me that Keith Allen played a Gino in the comic strip short 'Gino'. The plot thickens..

I love this poppy Linda Lewis number, and so did the original owner.

Somewhere amongst all the junk I've accumulated during my life, I have a Gladys Knight single with a child's drawing of a person holding a bottle on the sleeve. It also bears the legend "My mum when she's drunk," which is a bit bleak really.

Not necessarily. We used to tease my mum about her drinking all the time and it was hilarious.

Maybe not cheesy... and not even a sleeve/cover... but I once found a bunch of Polish records with these homemade innersleeves out of really old used printer paper with incomprehensible stuff printed on them. So - someone in Poland must have realized even back then that the normal plastic sleeves I guess was standard (as that's what you see most often with Polish pressings) weren't very friendly to the vinyl.
