It's Eastertime! Spring is in the air and to celebrate we've persuaded longstanding Mudpal Jamie Kidd to hop like the Easter bunny over from Glasgow and serve up a selection of treats for all the good boys and girls at Nobles this coming Saturday night...
This Kidd's got a lot going on in Glasgow, radio show's, club nights, you name it and Jamie's involved with it. The ultimate seal of approval comes from on high as he's the official pre-club warm up to Glasgow's 21 year institution Divine.
Both Lee and I also have prime records to play... I've lapsed and gone back on the Ebay to buy a few follow up goodies from last years stateside trip, and Lee as ever has been scaring record shop owners from Islington to Dundee with his dogged pursuit of the vinyl this month.
Big shout out goes to Nobles Bar by the way, their continued hosting of the Mud shouldn't be taken for granted.
They've recently wall mounted the speakers for better sound and improved the seeting arrangements up on the extended stage to boot! A new monitor speaker has worked wonders for us behind the decks as well - now we can actually hear ourselves!
BTW Mudsters... We've entered the 21st centuary now and Eclectic Mud are now on Facebook (!), so look us up and we'll be happy "to add you as a friend" or whatever it is and you can duely "poke us with a chicken" whenever you feel like it...
Eclectic Mud – This Saturday (14th Apr) in the very accommodating and plush surroundings of Nobles bar, 44a Constitution Street, Leith, EH6 6RS http://www.noblesbarleith.co.uk/
The musical formula remains as always unchanged – top music from any and every genre - as the mood takes us. The only unbroken rule… It must be played from vinyl.
Eclectic Mud is FREE, rekkids from 9pm until 1am… spread the word.
See you there
Fuz ‘n’ Lee
