As it's been quite some time since I did a trades post, I figured I would give it a go today. Contact me with questions or trade offers. Scroll down to see what I'm looking for.
Grading is sleeve/vinyl on a scale of NM/EX/VG+/VG. I only list albums here that don't have major problems such as pops and skips, even the VG ones still play very enjoyable.
The Pralins - Beat With The Pralins LP (Populär GER) VG/VG(+)
German beat album. Sleeve has writing with marker on back, therefore a VG, otherwise very clean cover. The vinyl has hairlines and scuffs, but plays great.
Salena Jones - Everybody's Talkin' About LP (CBS UK) EX/VG(+)
UK original, rare groove classic at 'Am I The Same Girl'. Arranged and produced by Keith Mansfield. The record has hairlines and surface marks, but plays great.
Nico Fidenco - Ringo Il Texano/All'Ombra Di Una Colt LP (RCA ITA) SS/SS
Still sealed 80s reissue of rare Italian soundtrack by the master Nico Fidenco.
Rita Reys Meets Oliver Nelson LP (Philips HOL) VG/VG+
Great vocal jazz album featuring some of the European heavyweights such as Sahib Shihab, Ake Persson, Klaus Doldinger etc. Lovely version of Wives And Lovers but actually a solid listen throughout. Stereo copy. Sleeve is a bit yellowed and has wear along the edges and small writing on back. Vinyl has surface marks and hairlines, but I just played the entire album and it plays great.
The Last Poets - This Is Madness LP (Douglas US) EX/EX
Black poetry with jazz background. US OG.
Manfred Krug Und Die Modern Jazz Big Band 65 Lp (Amiga GER) VG+/EX
German vocal jazz with a cool version of Sister Sadie.
Jean-Pierre Bottura - Jazz Moderne LP (Private FRA)EX/VG+
Jazz percussion album.
Jean-Pierre Bottura - Danse Moderne LP (Private FRA)EX/VG+
Jazz percussion album.
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue LP (Fontana HOL) VG-/VG
Rare Dutch original pressing of the legendary Miles album with alternate artwork. The sleeve has a sticker and small tear on the back + white paper tape at the bottom and top seam. Also, the lamination on the front has been removed. The vinyl has surface marks and small scratches, so the album does play with some surface noise, but still a very enjoyable copy. Ask for soundclips.
Rhythm Combination & Brass - Power Play LP (MPS US) EX/EX
Single LP US release with the best tracks of the original album. Great dancefloor jazz in Timbales Calients, Wade In The Water and Senor Blues. Still in shrink.
S.S.O. - Give A Damn LP (RKM BE) VG+/VG+(close to EX)
Rare alternate pressing of the SSO album with a few different tracks, but it contains both 'Faded Lady' (as sampled by Diamond D) and the boogie killer 'Won't You Try'. The sleeve has a small tear at the back, which is nicely repaired with tape from the inside, otherwise it would be EX. The record has a few hairlines and is close to EX.
Sadi - More Vibes LP (Jazz Club BE) NM/NM
Beautiful (appears to be unplayed) copy of this vibraphone jazz album from Belgium. Including the lovely Petite Suite among others.
Chet Baker - Sings And Plays LP (Joker ITA)VG+/VG+
Fantastic vocal jazz from Chet Baker, recorded in Italy with the orchestra of Len Mercer. This is the 2nd Italian pressing on Joker with a different sleeve. Last time I saw the original, it had a 400 euro price tag.
Lasse Werner och Hans Vänner/Lars Sjöstens Kvintett - Club Jazz 4 LP (SR SWE) EX/VG+
Volume 4 in the classic series with iconic artwork. Great modern jazz from Sweden. Some marks from taking the record out of the inner sleeve, would otherwise be EX or even NM.
Rolf Kühn Group ft. Phil Woods – The Day After Lp (MPS GER)VG+/EX
Heavy avant-garde jazz leaning towards free jazz on the legendary MPS label. Red label first pressing.
Kenny Clarke & Francy Boland - Jazz Is Universal LP (London UK)VG+/EX to NM
UK Mono pressing of the legendary band's first album. With Zoot Sims, Jimmy Deuchar, Sahib Shihab and many other EU jazz legends.
The Diamond Five - Something Old, Something New, Something Pink, Something Blue LP (EMI HOL) VG+/VG+
Groovy jazz with electric piano by Holland's most legendary jazz combo.
Krzystof Sadowski - Three Thousand Points LP (Muza POL) VG+/EX
Dark and groovy fusion jazz from Poland, with breaks, hammond etc. Writing on back sleeve (a dedication to Gabi & Wolfgang by two of the band members).
Atmosphere – Jazz-Rock LP (Pavane BE) VG+/EX
Obscure album from Luxembourg, including some great jazzfunk/fusion tunes such as ‘Little Elephant’. Great electric piano and minimoog. Record has some scuffing from the inner sleeve, but plays great. The sleeve has a small tear on the back, and a small piece of transparent tape on the bottom.
Armando Trovajoli - Magic Moments LP (RCA ITA) VG+/VG+
Rare Italian jazz by the Maestro and his orchestra. Heavy vinyl, black label with deep groove. The sleeve has a minor tear on the front (see picture) and the bottom seam was completely split, but is neatly repaired from the inside with tape. Side A has many tiny hairlines, but plays great, side B is close to NM.
Don Pullen – Jazz A Confronto 21 LP (HORO IT) EX/EX
Italian jazz on the Horo label. Including the groovy 'Calypso in Roma'. 2nd pressing.
Gloria Steward & The Manfred Burzlaff-Quartet - Jazz For Dancing LP (Discotheque Steinfels SWI) EX/EX to NM
2nd issue with alternate artwork of RARE European jazz grail. Beautiful vocal jazz in Fly Me To The Moon or I'll Remember April, but solid listen all the way through.
