Rock on Penderyn
Croeso.
Meant to be out on Record Store this was delayed until afterwards for no readily apparent reason, but out now:
"Men Opening Umbrellas Ahead is the splendid 1974 debut solo album by British musician, writer and comedian and legendary Ginger Geezer Vivian Stanshall. Long unavailable apart from low quality bootlegs, this is a sumptuously remastered edition sanctioned by the estate and family. Featuring a whole raft of Rock and Jazz royalty, this is perhaps Stanshall's crowning moment as a solo recording artist."
two great records that were first introduced at waxidermy have been reissued:
Donnie & Joe Emerson "Dreamin' Wild"
"hairy arm disco"
oh and LP version of Bob Chance "It's Broken" is hundred times better than any single edit or whatever
then this new Estonian single is now available on vinyl and free download:
http://onesensemusic.bandcamp.com/al...astus-osm007ep
and this is now shameless announcement, as it was released by my friends. if VV/vg+ would be about indiepop, this would vv classic, as this Estonian dreampop group has made covers of two classics "We've Only Just Begun" and "Say a Little Prayer":

i guess cheapest UK option is here
A pal has pointed out the new release (on the Holy Mountain label) of a new LP by White Manna - of interest to those of a space-rock/kraut persuasion?
OK: ready; let's do it ...
Funnily enough I was just eyeing that up myself. I love a good modern navel-gazing droney psych sort of thing.

I'm not sure if this has come out this month, but there's a new CD - 'The Soundtrack Gallery' - available from Winchester Hospital Radio: http://www.whr.org.uk
Has this been talked about here yet?
SALAH RAGAB
£19 is a lot for two 7"s, but... it's in a pyramid!! Tasty, delicious pyramids...
Never thought this would see a reissue , compulsory purchase unless of course you've an orig

Attention!!! I know this is a very expensive Price for the record. This i one of my most beloved Records, so my primary intention isn't the selling. I like it in my collection. I only will sell it, if someone wants it that much, that he is willing to pay that much money. Therefore the unrealistic price. Please don't tell me about it. I don't want to cheat ,I don't force someone into buying it, I don't want to drive up the price. Thanks for understanding
No mention of this yet? Cranium Pie's Baking Research Station offshoot with a deranged tilt at Egg's 'A Visit To Newport Hospital' and the actual Pie taking on Arzachel's 'Queen Street Gang' (and leaving hardly any trace of 'Soul Thing'). It dropped through the letterbox this morning and the first impressions are very positive. Well done.![]()
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
Just got this through the post after hearing a track on the radio, turns out it is Simon Price from The Heads. Very beautiful, ambient electronic music. Great cover as well with added Brigitte Bardot.

I like them all, but Jungle Talk seals the deal for me, even better! Still hoping to get an original at a decent price one day. May have to get the Dreamin Wild reissue though!
And if you like the instrumental part of LP It's Broken you might like this which is a couple of friends' second release: 13 minutes of psychedelic analog synth jamming.

'Revision' by Nope seems to have struck a chord with the illustration community (!). It's the first lp I've bought in months - http://obscenebabyauction.bandcamp.com/album/revision
"debut album from Leeds/Bradford psychedelic krautrockers NOPE"
I appreciate that kraut/psych description gets applied to just about everything at the moment but it's a great record.
not really into electronic music but maggi payne Ahh-Ahh: Music For Ed Tannenbaum's Technological Feets 1984-1987 floated my boat

The Jean Piche is a fantastic LP - just had an OG drop through the letter box this at a sensible (close to re-issue) price
I should plug a couple of local re-issues... if Jean Piche tickles yer wicket these two will do too - from Edtions Mego... OGs are a bugger to find in top condition
Pierre Schaeffer "Le Trièdre fertile"
Guy Reibel - "Granulations-Sillages / Franges du Signe"
