Nice find on the Peddlers - wouldn't mind finding one of those myself.

And the Don Ellis is great - if you like quirky jazz.

Had to pay proper money in a charity for the Peddlers worth it though as you never see it, shame had it or it would have made my day!

Loving 'Turkish bath' on the Don Ellis.

I've got the cassette single of this somewhere and I've never realized that was Rolf's great big mug leering at those too silhouetted lovers. Fun single, truly shit artwork.

Not a fan of Noel Fielding (The Mighty Boosh is shit IDST), but what exactly is this? I could Google it but where's the fun in that...

Scary isn't it? And odd as the song isn't really a love song.

Quite liked the Boosh but this was a spin off from his recent Luxury Comedy show on E4. Very few people watched it and those that did tended to hate it. The tracks on the album (mostly incidental music I think) are a lot better than the programme!

Bunch of schlager/ez/travel souvenir records. The Jones is fun, grungy beat from Brazil, the Pelo Mundo has Bill Justis Orchestra's bouncy, beaty version of Charade, and Up up and away has the pretty great spy funk track Webb of the blues.

Some Danish (protest) pop/rock. Some disco, someone here, maybe Pencilface?, recommended a boogie track by Platic Bertrand. Diamond D sampled Road's version of Never gonna give you up.

    Cal Tjader - Solar Heat
Latin jazz vibes. Works up a nice groove. I could live without the version of La Bamba though, but at least it's reworked enough to be listenable.

    Green - S/T
Popsike of some sort. Not as exciting as I hoped it would be.

    Talisker - Dreaming of Glenisla
Scottish folkmusic in freejazz versions - can't be many records like that about. I like it - especially the slower moments with nice droning.

Miles Davis - Filles de Kilimanjaro
Very nice - a bit of that "mysterious" sound I like so much.

    Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Minty vinyl, damaged sleeve = low price. Replaces the "digitally remastered" version I have as I'm sure that process destroyed the sound of it - gonna be interesting to see how it's supposed to sound now. And now to look for a damaged vinyl, minty sleeve at a psossibly even lower price.

    Ed Thigpen - Action-Re-Action
Funky jazz fusion backed up by Swedish and Danish jazz musicians (including Sabu Martinez).
    Liberia's only (einzige) disco-jazz-rock band

Give it a chance -great LP IMHO

in other news, I spent the week in North Wales and found......nothing! Cob was very poor this time, the stock looked very similar to last year and anything that was interesting was way over priced. Nothing in any of the many charities I tried either. Had a great holiday though and got to pretend to be Patrick McGoohan in Portmerion again

If you don't change your mind I would gladly take it off your hands! Did you find it locally? It's the kind of thing I have expected to find as a cut-out at some point but still haven't.
