    Default New magazine: Electronic

Nothing to do with me, I haven't written anything in it, but I thought I should give a heads-up to any electronic enthusiasts out there.

Loads of good stuff in first issue and apparently there may not be a second issue if it doesn't do well: Can, Tangerine Dream, Silver Apples, Ultravox, Human League, Detroit Techno, minimal Wave, Radiophonic Workshop, Gary Numan, A Guy Called Gerald etc etc. Also comes with really good cover mount CD including: Ladytron, Ricky's Hand, TVOD, Nag Nag Nag, I Travel, Mr X, etc etc

You can buy it here >

Just "The Story of Dare!" was enough for me to bite...

"PLUS: John Fox; Twin Shadow, Kraftwerk; Minimal Wave; Gary Numan; A Guy Called Gerald; Back to the Phuture; Midge Ure; Silver Apples; Vangelis; Heaven 17; Adamski; Fad Gadget; Matthew Herbert; and many more!"

That looks like one of those synth listings that you see on eBay: 'used by:...' which always has the same 15 people without fail (missed out Moby and Aphex Twin though)

Looks good, thanks! the pedant in me saw a typo in the blurb though. It's John Foxx, not Fox. His 'Metamatic' was one of the earlier completely 'synthetic' cornestone
    records at the time.

Eight quid seems a bit steep though. Had a look at it in WH Smith and its in one of those cardboard envelopes that all these "specials" seem to come in these days so you can't judge the content, i.e. has it loads of large photos and possibly very little writing?
Has any body bought it and can confirm its worth the price?
With the recent demise of the "Word" I would have thought an eight quid cover price would be asking for trouble if its a new magazine and not just a one off.
