The face is being scanned, mapped and projected on - In real time.
That is clever although I bet it gets confused when the person moves around a lot. I've being doing a lot of uni tours of late related to creative technologies which makes me quite jealous that I'm not 18 and at college.
One lecturer said something along the lines of 'We have all these things we can do now because we have the power but we don't know where they are going to lead us and have few ideas of what to do with some of them but that's where you come in...' indicating the prospective students as it were. I thought that summed it up. I also learnt that facial recognition is pretty far away from what you see on CSI et all.
I could see that in clubs in 10 years time during an Aphex Twin comeback set!
This sorta reminds me when the last son leaves I want to start messing around with 'Raspberry Pi' Projects.

Ainsley appears to have "gone viral" in my son´s online community. He keeps asking me about vintage Ready Steady Cook and saying "What am I like?"
I hope not. That would make me the Jimmy Savile of the record racks.
Sorry the wife showed me this and it made me piss my pants. Probably of no fun if you don't watch 'Game of Thrones' :

"Ah, Barry, thanks for coming up to see me. How are you settling in? I just wanted to say that we really value the fresh approach you've brought as new Head of Turntable Design. Your left-handed range has truly made the industry sit up and think. But, now that you're here, can I share some customer feedback with you?"
Anyone near Knutsford can pick up a VG copy of this huge 7" for only £4.99. :
I know it's charity but it made me laugh wish I'd have taken a pic but I was being hovered over like I was some kind of shoplifter of Nick Berry singles.
Cheapest copy on discogs was 9p almost a pointless answer! Have that Richard Osman! Wicksy aside there were some interesting jazz punts, pp looking stuff from the early eighties all priced sky high and I'm skint but if they are stickering Nick Berry number one singles at a fiver I'm sort of glad I forgot what they were called.
PS: I've not forgotten you Paul expect a droppage at some point in the next week or so when my life returns to some kind of normal, man flu aside.
Noticed that Youtube's codec deals with altered speed audio by time stretching, a sampler function.
So unlike a record - speed it up or slow it down, the pitch stays the same.
Take Dolly's 33rpm man voice.
Click on the cog knock the speed up to 1.25 or 1.5.
Me and the missus were obsessed with this show for about a year it's the show that keeps on giving so this made me laugh. I'm sure I'll watch it all at some point...
