Sorry to interrupt the fanzine suggestion, but just wanted to confirm that I'm still up for it...

it would be great to give people an incite into 'what the hell we are all trying to do and say" and would be a great way for us all to co-promote our other exploits / events/ releases/ charts / radio shows etc. etc. etc....and in turn promote the 'jamborees' and widen the awareness of lesser known dj's and club promoters and such like.

i also think it would be good to have a collective name which isnt specific to any established camp (to avoid getting anyones backs up)

(whoops gotta go, back in a bit)
Yus, I'm down - we'll have to crack the back of the logistics though, like do we make it ebased or hard flyer copies or both etc etc.

Still can't make the Byker Groove session though.

Just wanted to confirm that I am also still in.

Also, Brother Logic and myself are in cahoots about a potential meet in Sheffield later this year too. Got a great venue on board and several other peeps up for helping to organise the whole shabang too... so watch this space..
Let him have the lot for £2.00 - we were only going to throw 'em out anyway...

Any news on this? There's a fair few of us going to be up on the Saturday, so it would be cool to play out twice. Of course, it means taking twice the number of records up, but I can live with that!

I got a PM from Chris Scriptflipper last night, they are looking for a place for us to play - but James (Chris' bro) has gone on holiday for a week and he was doing most of the arranging (I think) ! So, it's all still on hold at the mo.

Well, there's going to be a load of us up there on the Saturday regardless, so it's not as if anyone is waiting to see if there'll be a gig before booking anything. So, there's plenty of time to arrange something.

Are all the DJ spots taken, as, on the back of the fanzine talk, at least one of the Votels is considering coming up?

... Hi guys - I spoke to Sayer last night... There are 13 half-hour slots from 4pm until 10.30pm and they are all taken (see poster), but that's not to say we couldn't start an hour earlier to accomodate Doko and Boney... ??

I'll check with Sayer... see if this is OK. I might see Doko tonight at HF&S, so I'll chat to him then.

Sayer and I also tried to get another couple of irons in the fire regarding a venue to tear shit up on the Saturday night. Fingers crossed.

Good work on the flyer front. I take it that we'll all be able to get copies of it to take home? Fingers crossed that you can get something sorted for Saturday!
