    Default Goblin live in London

pics last night's great show at the Union Chapel in North London,
sitting front row in the balcony, not bothering anyone with my camera

a HUGE bloody queue to get in... mind you it was sit on a pew where you like when we got in

such a beautiful place to see the film/band

this doesn't do the ceiling justice

let the gore flow! WITCH! WITCH! WITCH!

    hanging around

    secret whispers

opening the curtain to the coven's lair

    bloody witches

the band applaud the divine light

well brilliant of course! no, i'm not just saying that it was spot-on perfect. They did Dawn of The Dead on the Monday too
but Suspiria is their masterwork really, the Q+A at the beginning hinted they will return to do Nosferatu sometime soon too

Yeah suspiria is great and a top film. Think it was watching Dawn of the Dead as a kid and seeing 'music by Goblin' at the end that first perked my interest in them. Never managed to find any of their music for years until I met someone who was bang into Italian horror movies and had a lot of their stuff. Colour me jealous!

Really great pics HG, amazing venue.

What's the deal with these things, I've never actually been to one, do they mute the film, have a version with no music, just play over the music on the film?

Tempted to go to the Manc one of this, they were excellent last time I saw them.

well the whole film was slightly quieter on dialogue, but the band played about 80% of the time,
sometimes along with talking but real subtle, they never became overpowering except in the mad bits.
A friend went to see Dawn of The Dead the previous eve and said Suspiria live was much better and worked
as a whole - but how could it fail with that nagging lalalala refrain (which he did live) most of the way through
