    Default Supraphon sleeve gallery

Inspired by the World record club thread...

I don't know about you but I can't resist great artwork on records, and keep them even if the music doesn't resonate with me. Over the years I've gradually become aware of the Supraphon label stock sleeves... Hopefully there are more of these wondrous works of art out there and if you have any more please post them up...

one or two of my smax swap sleeves may have been inspired by/ complete rip-offs (delete as applicable) of Supraphon sleeves.

that Praha 65 one, for a start

    and this Karel Krautgartner one:

Lovely stuff - yeah, don't hold back just because it's not a stock cover...

These are all wonderful. I want to chime in with a collection of Balkanton stock covers acquired from trading with gogo, but I think I should hold off in the name of thread fidelity.

I like this doom-laden tree, with the horizontal strips of red and green suggesting a happening modernism awaits the listener.

No idea what's going on here. Some sort of O with wings and a couple of angels inside?

Full of mystery, this one. Is this the very essence of the artist, leaking out into his works? Are we seeing the 'metamorphoses' of the title?
