    Default Portable to suit Handyman.

    Yo dudes....

I have been told that no (32 year old) man needs over 10 portable record players & that should they continue to mutate and clutter up the space I may return home to find a sorry end to one of my family!!
So for trade is the daddy of miniture portable decks.
    Audio-technica Sound Burger.
    Raunchy Red!!
    Some renovation is needed.
The turntable plate is not 100% flat. Slight dip that causes the records to rub.
When I got this burger I took It apart to fix it but did'nt have the time & ended up putting it back together.
The rest of the unit is in full working order. The finger arm? on the tone arm is missing, but the the deck works and despite a bit of wear it is in splendid condition.
Has new styus That I fitted.
Im pretty sure that the turntable will be fixable.
Infact I will try again tomorrow.
I have used this in "the field" & it's workable, but annoying.
    Save the Burger!!
If it's of no use I will probally fix it & throw up on the bay.
Andy Divine & Platterpus would have 1st refusal.
Sorry Andy for not being intouch re: 7 ages of man. I actually found one the week after! but will still sort some trade out for the one I took off you. Sorry for not keeping on it, I changed email & stuff.
Platterpus, Ill PM some trades across tomorrow. Off on a night shift now.

I like jazz (strata east) & bossa psych stuff today. Aprox trade price given the problem? £50/60??
Let me know if any one is interested.
( it looked so cute next to my red one, & so b boy when i chaned the battery covers over).

    Boney.

Yo Boney! Since you found another, just send it back up to me. Or trade. Or whatever... I've already got a Soundburger, it's just a silver battery cover I need (Lee keeps his chained up when I'm around ) - seems like an extravagant way to get a red battery compartment cover!!!

Who said you've got no need for 10 portable record players? I know you're a psychiatric nurse, but you must be mixing with some REALLY crazy people...
