Anyone caught a KRS1 show recently?
I seeing him tomorrow in Penzance of all places!!!
So many hip hop shows can be a disappointment but this guy is supposed to be one of the best live.
And the man is a hip hop legend no question.
Damn when I first heard John Peel play ‘South Bronx’ in 86-87 I never for one moment thought I’d be seeing the guy play live….Let alone in Penzance!!!
I might go down early for a dig but that is Si-Spex’s homeground so thing might be a little fruitless.

Saw him in Manhattan Nov 2003 he headlined the 'Zulu Nztion 30th Anniversary' and tore the roof off the place! Loads of tuff tunes and jump up energy, well impressed and that was with a line up that included Bam & Soul Sonic Force, Jungle Bro's, Melle Mel, Daimond D, Kool Keith etc
