Not quite sure what your on about but lets see a picture.
I have a deWolfe 7" from the states and some deWolfe 7's from lord knows where so I guess there could be stranger stuff out there...classic case being the peer 'Big Hammer' lp.
That came out on a spanish Impacto label![]()

I don't have it, but was searching for it and saw it
on a Distributor's site here in the US as being available
I do have an original on my site but am in the process
of doing a trade with someone in France for it.
There are MANY MP3's on the listing, so dig in.
You can just type hard hitter into the seach or put
this Product ID # in also; 7e8748be
Hard Hitter
Jack
One of my faves - massive amounts of funky drums on it. The title track has been comped a fair few times but the whole thing is good. Mine came in a generic De Wolfe sleeve so it's probably a later repress - had it in my chart a couple of months ago.
"..hole...road...middle thereof"
BTW - what happened to your July chart then Serm![]()

One of me mates has this lp, other than this i know fookin' 'nowt, but hey, i gotta reply to some of the serious threads or i'm gonna get a fookin' reputation.
sorry to be about as much use as a fookin' handbreak in a fookin' canoe, or a chocolate fookin' teapot, or, ect ect ect...........![]()

Turntable Lab have it.

bootleg alert! deWolfe are going to be pi**ed at that one.
Watch those cease and desist letters FLY!
ps at the top of the page is a very cool melody house record - They are came from philahobo (top man) who sold one on ebay for $100!!
So at $30 thats a good deal. Its good if you like comedy jazz funk with a guy going 'now raise your hands. up UP down DOWN.' etc etc.

Two very cool Melody House records. Turntable Lab also have philabhobo's (he's scaramanga on this board, right?) pal dioplodocus' first(?) record and his new mix CD which are both sounding very nice. Actually TL have a ton of great stuff at the minute. In fact they always do. Damn good to buy and damn good place to research with all those Real clips.
I think former diplo is philahobo. you really need his sales lists as he scoops up cheap us stuff that we just can't get over here.
and turntable lab have been really good to us. They are the only usa company to take our record so big up them![]()

Okay now I'm confused. I get a sales list from tripledouble who I believe is philahobo/scaramanga. Those Philly guys are just on a mission to confuse anyway.![]()
You sure about that Serm? Looks like they may be promos for an upcoming DeWolfe comp...Originally Posted by [b
btw, those Melody House LPs are hot hot hot! Get em while you can!
Well I know for a fact the deWolfe do not issue licenses for full LPs. It smacks of a dodgy record - Turntable Lab says the audio quality is poor - if it was official it would sound incredible - I have copies of hard hitter master tapes and they sound fantastic.
deWolfe might come round to my way of thinking...lets hope so because I really want to release some of their best lps (Hard hitter wasn't one of them so I dont mind this boot).
The are also most aggressive label for copyright protection...
oh and...tripledouble is philahobo/scaramanga is former diplodocus is aeioubeats (I think...)![]()

Out of interest (and general noseyness) what would you rate as the best - c'mon, a top five. I don't have that many De Wolfes but I'd choose these:Originally Posted by [b

Big Beat
Prototype
Bumper Bundle
Atomic Butterfly
I'd be well interested in a reissue of Vecchio - Afrorock - get 'em telt Serm!

You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
$30 for a melody house record... damn, they're still making a killing on the weight of the name.
Naw, 2 different guys. I've actually met hobo while he was travelling around the U.S. during last summer and he's a truly great guy.Originally Posted by [b
You can easily tell them apart as well from their posts. Hobo usually sticks to standard English, while Diplo uses as many slang words, especially Philly ones like "jawn" as possible. Oddly enough, that's only on posts to boards because I've talked to him via e-mails and he suddenly talks fine.
Cheers Mr 67, things are making sense again. Philahobo is definitely a cool guy. And diplo makes some really nice tunage. I have a bunch of mp3s. I'm very much looking forward to getting his 'Thingamajawn' 45.
