Default 45 RPM Trades - quite good - woo hoo!!!

Just been sorting out some 45's, thought I'd post up some spares before they end up on an auction site somewhere....

    UK 45's:

Berry Street Station 'Chocolate Sugar' (Crystal)
    heavy funk single, NM copy.

Diane Jenkins 'Tow Away Zone' (Crystal)
    heavy funk single, NM copy.

    Chubby Checker 'Gypsy' (Pye)
    ultimate hendrixian club banger, NM.

    Chubby Checker 'Gypsy' (20th Century)
    ultimate hendrixian club banger, NM.

Tina Harvey 'Nowhere To Run' (UK)
amazing UK funk/psych version of the Motown classic, little known as yet I believe.., EX.

    Timebox 'Beggin' (Deram)
    mod club classic, NM.

    Harold McNair 'Hipster' (RCA)
NM demo copy of jazz dance classic, quite hard to find.

    Cocktail Cabinet 'Breathalyser' (Page One)
    Hammond banger, NM.

    Banbarra 'Shack Up' (UA)
EX UK copy of UBB classic funker.

Tyrone and Carr 'Take Me With You' (DJM)
    UK only, I believe, NM.

5 Miles Out 'Super Sweet Girl Of Mine' (Action - grey label)
Other side (Set Your Mind Free) is great too. NM.

Krissi K 'Who Do You Think You Are' (People)
answer to 'Mr Big Stuff' - possibly UK only? NM.

    Chocolate Boys 'Voltaire Pier' (Decca)
Ramsey Lewis-esque lovely piano club track, NM.

    Earnest Jackson 'Hogwash' (Epic)
UK copy of classic funk instrumental, NM.

    Nature Zone 'Porcupine' (London)
    disco/funk instrumental classic, NM.

Brenda and the Tabulations 'One Girl Too Late' (Epic)
Nice soul tune, a classic in fact. NM.

    US 45'S:

The Carnival 'Son Of A Preacher Man' (World Pacific)
EX copy, kind of Sergio Mendes style.

The Gayletts 'Son Of A Preacher Man' (Steady)
    Amazing reggae version, NM.

Brass Buttons 'Hell Will Take Care Of Her' (Cotillion)
fantastic psych/pop track with great fuzz and dark lyrics, EX.

loads more to be sorted soon... er, holler at me!

They were playin this one as a Ramsey Lewis c/u -...!!?? S'incredible the depths these guys will sink to in order to play 'new' stuff - I let one well-known NS dealer know what I thought of him charging £100 for what is a bloody common record in Europe - £5 / £10 max allover mosta Europe and not even that scarce on UK Decca when ya know where to dig...

    Piss-poor really...indefensible? Then tell me...

Even more common than a Decca copy, I reckon?

Funny old label, that Aquarius - can anybody recommend any other releases on there - or - better still, point us towards a discog? Few maaaad Disco-era bits on there, I think?
