ha ha ha, they have to make at least a 8-lp box if they want to release it on vinyl!!..did you heard it already?
Looks like an interesting mix. Is it worth getting?
Ha ha! I was about to write that it looked like a really shitty mix, Blighty. Oh wait, I did!
So what exactly is this Boca 45 thing? A mix like the Document ones Andy Smith has released? Are people supposed to pay money for this somewhere along the line? It looks all eclectic and all, and for all I know, put together in some super duper style, but Jesus! There's a couple of genuinely good tunes on that list, but so much total fucking shit on there too...
Good Morning America!![]()
You grumpy bugger! There's loads of good tunes on there.Originally Posted by Nick Cope

Nick I haven't actually heard this one but I've got his other 45s mix CD and to be honest it wasn't really worth it. He plays a few good tunes but as for his 'mixing' well, lets just say it leaves a little to be desiredOriginally Posted by Nick Cope

Also bear in mind that these are mixtapes, not official releases so all tracks are unlicensed - someone is making a few quid somewhere along the way and it sure aint the original artists...![]()
I read the tracklist and assumed that it was more about the mixing because, whilst there are some decent tracks on there, the choices are very uninspired. Surely the majority of tunes have been used countless times before?
But maybe I should give it a listen first...
Yeah, I assumed the same thing, Swedish man. Looking at that listing, you'd think he'd have to be some kind of really freaking fantastic turntable sorcerer to pull off that lazy selection. Didn't the dude look around to see the quality of similar mixes - both in selection and mixing style - before attempting to produce some quality product? Or are all mixes crappy nowadays? I mean after the Paul Nice's the Votel's et all, the bar has been raised pretty high. Even if it is super amazingly awesome beer dump fantastic, I still don't wanna hear the Dells mixed into Spinning Wheel!
When's Mr Boca gonna come on and say we're a bunch of miserable, elitist wakers then? Ah, I forgot this isn't the 45 board.![]()
This is why mixes ultimately suck. I'm just kidding, everybody take it easy.![]()
Nick Cope, you are a miserable elitist waker and possibly wanker as well.Originally Posted by Nick Cope

Arrgh, Arrgh! You Got me!
Well I've bought it now so I like it!!!
Not as good as Andy Smith's 'The Document' series - Dave Kinky quote. Use it
thats a nice image. where's it from?Originally Posted by vibra
Ah, found it by way of good ol' google image search. Sadly it appears to be the creation of a marketing company called Brent Green & Associates, seemingly the very essence of those people Bill Hicks once told to "Kill yourselves... seriously".Originally Posted by DOKO*ENO
