I recently picked up the reissue of Neil Ardley's "Kaleidoscope Of Rainbows" on double vinyl and am enjoying it greatly. Are there any other pieces in a similar vein that Vultures can recommend?![]()

A double reissued last year on 180g, very nice, but fairly expensive.Originally Posted by LDJB
I'll attemt to check some of the other stuff you mention. Nucleus are a distant memory from way back, along with Colloseum and such like that I wasn't particularly into when I was a teen, typical!

If I remember rightly 'Harmony of the Spheres' suffers from MarkKingitiis - intrusive slap bass.
Maybe you should check out Mike Westbrook 'Citadel/Room 315' - not expensive either.

Well there's a few to be started with - thanks to you all!
I remember, a few years back, 'Kaleidoscope of Rainbows' being in a local chazzer for months at the princely sum of £1 and I kept leaving it cos the release date just seemed too recent for the music therein to be much cop.
What a helmet.
If you will suck my soul, I will lick your funky emotions.
