'Soul Slap' on the Sound Of Soul Themes lp was the background music to a porno *ahem* scene. One of them soul strut dudes put it up. Twas very cool

Ring kpm up and ask them to key the database for use of their tracks. 'Yes I'm after stuff used in porn please'

Not exactly hard croe stuff, but the ELECTRIC BLUE series used alot of BRUTON libraries. And also PROGRAMME music and some De Wolfe.

thanks. I was just curious cuz I, erm, remember the classic 70's porn film 'Sex World' having some funky ass library music in the background and I know I heard it somewhere before. I'm sure it's on one of those Luke Vibert Nugget comps or some other library music comp out there, I'll have to dig 'em out to find out which song it was exactly. Kind of amusing when you think about it---watching some broad getting a facial while there's the "bom tchika bom tchika" guitar licks in the background.

The theme SEX WORLD is featured on the POP BOUTIQUE Vol.3 (instrumental version) and the vocal version is on STAR MAIDENS cd.

Regarding Electric Blue videos.
I remember seeing an ad on one of the volumes advertising the "music" which was by some band that wrote songs for the series. Does anyone have this cd? It must be damn rare.

... my grainy old VHS copy of "Rocking With Seka" ( late 70's, blue eyeliner and neckties all round... you know the deal ! ) does indeed feature the music of Hawkshaw !! There are a couple of tracks used in one of the scenes that I know from my "Girl In A Sportscar" CD that came out in the mid 90's... The exact names of the tracks I forget...

I remember seeing a porno film as a teenager with awesome music...15 years later I was in a nightclub & heard the track being played I ran up to the Dj & found out that it was 'Swamp Fever"? by jonny Cameron....the memories came flooding back.

'Sex World' is actually a Selected Sound library piece by Berry Lipmann (in fact, I think most of the Star Maidens music came from Selected Sound) - I've got a 30-second edit on a jingles LP, and it's got a proper title. I can't remember it at the moment, but I'll try and find out.
