Saw a British documentary on Danish TV over here in Sweden yesterday. No idea what year it was from but it had some bloke going through police training with a hidden camera to see if racist police students were weeded outin the process and wether the training helped change their views. It did not - the only person weeded out was a man from Pakistan who was bullied by racists 'til he dropped out. There's no big surprise there's racism in any country's police force, but the way this was exposed (with no fake names or blurred faces on some of the worst racist scum who became PCs) made me wonder...
...what happened after the documentary was shown in UK, as I guess it must've been...
...those guys still have their jobs after bragging for the hidden camera about how they practiced their racism after they got their badge, how "perkers" should be shot etcetera...
...any debate or improvement in the methods supposed to get rid of such elements in training??
