    5th August 2006. 12.30pm-10.30pm. Free!
    Imagine if you will, an all day free festival in the middle of the city inhabited by upwards of 40,000 alternative music fans who have travelled from near and far to listen and dance to the finest psychedelic krautrocking space-jazz, acidic-folk and fuzzed up Turkish delights played by some of the most adventurous, industrious record crate archeologists from around the world and then pinch yourself twice.

    After last year's resounding success the kind organisers of Manchester's D-Percussion festival have asked us to fashion an accidental world music stage at Barca, organising a tag-team marathon vintage vinyl-spinning session in the heart of Castlefield. The B-Music stage will run between the hours of 12 noon and 10.30pm but the fun doesn't end there. For those who want to continue their late night fuzz-fest experience into the early hours we've booked PO-NA-NA for the official B-Music stage aftershow party (more details to follow soon).
