Saw them live at the 2007 Queen Elizabeth Hall gig - I don't think I stopped smiling from start to finish.

Booked (only for the gig, the film/talk are now sold out). I saw them last time they played in Islington and it was great fun.

I really hope they do something in the North. Whoever's going this is most likely the last time we will ever see these guys all together again. Bittersweet.

            Great gig - Great day

JT did a sterling job as compere, securing the encore by intercepting our fleeing heroes before they could find a bar.

Fine players, clearly loving the occasion. Nice to see Ian T again too

I was pretty ill but didn't want to miss it so made the journey dosed up with ibuprofen, watched the first set right from the back, second set from the stairs overlooking the Hammond. A very special evening.

That would be the secret VG+ signal of course...

Not me sneezing, different sort of lurgy :-) I've thought a VG+ enamel pin badge or something would be a great idea.

I was more round to right, hang on, let me upload something...

Should have offered the spotted hanky.

Halfway up the stairs, yup! Probably surrounded by VG+ people but who knew? :-)

Entire audio from the concert is available here : https://www.mixcloud.com/sohoradio/t...rary-06102018/

Been looking at the mobile phone vids of people who went. It looked to me they did quite a dark funky set list among classics like 'Funky Fanfare'. Oh just seen Sam's post, cheers I'll be checking that for sure.

                            I went with Col Wolfe.

It was nice to meet Moogaloo & his mate plus catch up with Ian Townsend, Treeboy & Llmod

Was Pitch there? I swear he walked straight past me at one point.
it's OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful, you're gonna have to pass through all right. When you get to all right,
take a good look around and get used to it, because that may be as far as you're gonna go.
