Out of curiosuty - how did you find the Emmaboda festival? Near where I grew up - I went there in 1993 when Pavement and Cornershop played. Everything was really chaotic - all the bands, audience and the arrangers where drunk and high and mingled about in a field together, security guards so wasted they fell off their chairs mumbling incomprehensible as they tried to stop people without tickets from entering the gates... the guys from Cornershop having a very fat roadie that passed out and them carrying him around by the legs and arms, the old drummer in Pavement stumbling around in a stupor shooting plastic suction arrows at people among the tents... was quite an experience.

Ha! Sounds like a great festival!
Sadly it was raining when we got there plus we didn't have time to hang around for long due to mad travel arrangements but it was still cool.
The location is beautiful; I love festivals in woods and the people organising it were really cool. A lot of the festival staff were really young and really enthusiastic and caring.
We basically turned up (on a train from Copenhagen Airport), played the gig (which went well despite the whether), watched Graveyard (their drummer is nuts) and then spent about an hour getting pissed on random Swedish beer before getting the train back to Denmark. Wish had been able to hang out longer.
The whole thing did seem a little random and the line up a little confused but I really liked the vibe.
We played Qstock in Finland the next day and that was one of the best gigs we've ever played; the weather was great, the sun didn't really go down and the slot was a lot later...

Nice - here's what the local paper wrote in my modified google-translation, you may take it as a compliment or as a compliment mixed with an insult, as you wish:

For those in the audience who thought The Casualties punk too edgy but still want a break from the otherwise electronica-packed line-up, Wolf People is perfect. The British band offers a 60's influenced rock that the audience gratefully rolls along with.

The band members look like four overgrown retro-boys who live at home with mum, but the music they play is far from being immature. They play an experimental rock with long guitar solos and folk rock tones.

It's hard not to be affected by singer Jack Sharp's voice that echoes out over Rasslebygd. It sounds fantastic live and his voice is strongly reminiscent of Tim Buckley, which is perhaps not so surprising given the legend was active at the 60 - and 70's.

Christ on a bike that was a good gig.

Cracking set from you lot. As I think I may have mentioned at some length, you really seemed to be enjoying it...

You guys were blinding, sorry I didn't catch you at the end but we were both cream crackered and so had to head home. Good work chaps!

Hey Gareth, annoyingly we won't be over for long (flying over Saturday and back on Sunday) but it would be good to meet for drink. I'll pm you a bit closer to the date
