    The kings are back!
First time I saw them, Jerry Roslie was singing, and he still had the scream. Last time I saw them, the bassist was singing, and although good, he wasn't as good. Not to take anything away from them at all. Once Larry Parypa is onstage, just sorting his guitar out, banging out a few slabs of grunge, the hairs on my arms would be standing up. After the last time, I said to myself that's it, no more.
They are such a class act, it's bound to be great. Grab that tiger by the tail Craig, and hang on tight. Watch out for the start of Cinderella for the dirtiest guitar sound around......God they're good!

I saw them at the Le Beat Bespoke gig. It was bloody marvellous! If you go to these things and stand at the back looking cool and waiting to be impressed, it ain't gonna happen. Give yourself up to The Sonics, you will be rewarded. It's never going to be like it was in 65/66, how could it be? It was certainly going off down the front at the Forum that night, we had a ball, can't speak for the too cool to dance crew though! It's rock'n'roll for gawds sake! Get down or get out

I was underwhelmed by them at LBB and more recently at The Garage. If the sound guy does a good job it will help but we're talking about seventy year old men playing punk music. In the past fifty years the snotty attitude's been replaced by competence. And solos. Then again, I think ETK enjoyed the gig more than I did so maybe he can offer his opinion? I was more impressed by The Horrors, who were supporting.

I'm happy that they're getting paid for their music, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see them again. Don't build your hopes up too much, Craig, and you may just be pleasantly surprised.
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

I saw them at The Forum.

                      It saddened me.

And they're maybe my favourite ever band.

There's a reason most people don't watch old person porn.
I mean, even old people don't, do they.
                      To infinity - and beyond!

I'd be interested to know what expectations people had for a bunch of 70 year olds! Why did we go? It was good fun, it was never going to be a bunch of sulky young noisenicks, we knew that. They know the score too, they've seen it all. We got to see The Sonics, and went home grinning.....well I did anyway.

DJing? My mate says it depends on the support bands/space on stage etc. He's doing his best to sort out a quick interview, he came through on the ESG gig with the interview, so with a bit of luck it might just come off!
