  • Gaza: Medical Aid for Palestinians benefit tomorrow, Sat. 9th August

    Hi
A friend of mine is organising a benefit for tomorrow, with the proceeds going to MAP. It's at The Common House Unit 5E Pundersons Gardens Bethnal Green, London E2 9QG. I'm DJing with some others, and there will be live music as well. Please come along if you can, or make a donation via the link below.

Details copied off the Facebook page.

    *EMERGENCY FUNDRAISING GIG FOR GAZA**

A rebel rousing night of live music and DJs to help raise urgently needed funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians.

Sam Leon and Dimitri Antorka Pieri will perform an exclusive acoustic show, with a special guest TBA... Monica Yam, Deejay Shay, Danny Lowe and myself will be DJing and playing tunes to inspire the feet to dance and the spirit to donate.

Even if you can't make it on Saturday just follow this link and make an emergency donation now, whatever you can afford. Thank you.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you’re joining the demo in town the plan is to wend our way back east to come together in solidarity for the people of Gaza.

Medical Aid for Palestinians is on the ground delivering emergency medical supplies and support as well as personnel with specialist burns training. They will be there in the aftermath too, helping to ease the psychological impact of the trauma of war.
